Attitudes to disability and accessibility are evolving and changing the way we all live and work. Our communities are being transformed: our built environment, how we use and access technology, and our expectations for the representation of people with disability in all aspects of society. Some might say change takes too long, but what progress has been made? And what innovations and improvements are still needed?

In the lead up to International Day of People with Disability, join Nas Campanella, the ABC’s disability affairs reporter, Christina Ryan, founder of the Disability Leadership Institute, and Wayne Herbert, activist, author and comedian, for a lively and thought-provoking conversation ranging across history, activism and lived experience.
