Discover Coptic, the final evolution of the Ancient Egyptian language, which remains the official language of the Coptic Orthodox Church, and continues to be used in its liturgy, hymns, and prayers. Join us for Coptic language and history classes using authentic papyrus, performances from our choir and tours showcasing traditional Coptic iconography 📜

From face painting to henna stalls, and a jumping castle, we welcome all families (and ages) to come have a great time 🥳

Treat your taste buds to tasty Egyptian and Ethiopian meals including:

Koshari: a delicious Egyptian street food, layering rice, lentils, and pasta with crispy onions and a zesty tomato sauce for a perfect blend of flavours 🍲

Shawerma: an Egyptian street food favourite, featuring marinated meat, grilled to perfection. It’s filled with fresh vegetables, and a drizzle of tahini or garlic sauce 🥙

Ethiopian cuisine: a flavourful blend of aromatic spices, delicious stews, and fresh ingredients, all served on injera, a soft, tangy flatbread 🍛

Baklava: is a rich, flaky pastry layered with finely chopped nuts and sweetened with syrup 🥮
