Winter Tales presents Anna-Maria Arabia OAM at the National Library
- This event has passed.
Join Anna-Maria Arabia as she reflects on her life and work advancing science and the value of evidence-informed decision making in our society at the National Library.
Anna-Maria developed new ways for science to inform Australia’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and new ways for science to be heard in the courts, as illustrated by Kathleen Folbigg’s acquittal, one of the largest miscarriages of justice in our times.
Tickets cost $20 per person and bookings are essential.
This event is held in association with the National Foundation for Australian Women and the Australian Women’s Archives Program (AWAP).
Winter Tales events feature a notable woman speaking about her life and work, and raise funds to support the Australian Women’s Archives Program.
Afternoon tea will be served following the presentation.
