Winter School holiday programs: Marionette makers

Uncover the secrets of string puppets in this immersive two-hour workshop with puppeteer and artist Marianne Mettes. Learn the mechanics of marionettes, experiment with movement and performance skills, then build your own puppet from scratch. Through guided storytelling, character development and manipulation techniques, participants will bring their creations to life. Includes a live performance and practice session – perfect for emerging artists, performers and imaginative thinkers! Suitable for children aged 10–15 years, children must be accompanied by an adult.
