Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s public art program Weaving Waters: Mangi the Murray Cod invites the community to learn about the Murray Cod, participate in the making of a giant Murray Cod sculpture through hand weaving. Through a series of 6 workshops, create small, coiled forms that will be joined together as patches for Mangi’s skin, contributing to the large-scale collaborative artwork. You will also learn about the Murray Cod’s conservation, habitat, and First Nations cultural significance through a program of guest speakers.
