Built for speed: school holiday program
Race into National Archives these school holidays for a hands-on craft activity inspired by ‘Australia’s Own Car’ — the Holden.
Join us for a hands-on school holiday program exploring Rear vision: the Holden collection, celebrating the history of Holden and manufacturing.
Children will start by exploring the exhibition and discovering stories from Australia’s motoring past.
They will then take part in a creative workshop to design, build and decorate their own mini car to take home.
This fun, interactive session combines storytelling, design, and craft, encouraging children to bring their ideas to life through colour and creativity.
Suitable for children aged 7–12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please register tickets for children only; parents and guardians do not require a ticket.
