Henry Lawson’s short story has been extensively adapted and reinterpreted. Sue Brooks’ short film explores the portrayal of women in our cultural history, while Leah Purcell’s film invites audiences to see the story through First Nations and feminist lenses. Followed by a discussion with Purcell.
