Celebrating 100 Years of Hotel Kurrajong Saturday 12 September 2026 | 7:00pm–11:00pm For a century, Hotel Kurrajong has been part of Canberra's story. From welcomed guests and celebrated moments to quiet conversations shared beneath the trees, the hotel has played host to generations of memories. Join us as we mark this remarkable milestone with an evening of black and gold elegance, celebrating 100 years of history, hospitality and community. The evening begins in the Kurrajong Courtyard with caviar and canapés accompanied by live music from the Jazzology Trio. Guests will then move into the Kurrajong Room for a special gala dinner, premium beverages and a night of entertainment inspired by the hotel's rich history and enduring connection to Canberra. An Evening of Celebration Hosted by award-winning journalist and former ABC’s Back Roads presenter Heather Ewart, the evening will feature special conversations with guests whose personal and family stories are woven into the fabric of Hotel Kurrajong's history. Together, they'll bring to life the people, moments and memories that have shaped the hotel over the past 100 years Throughout the night, guests will enjoy performances from some of Canberra's finest musicians, including the Canberra City Band, the city's premier 20-piece swing band, and the energetic Swing Katz, bringing timeless music and a lively atmosphere to the dance floor.
