When catastrophic flooding and landslides struck the Nepal-China border region in late August, entire communities saw homes, roads, and livelihoods swept away in hours. For thousands of families, the struggle for clean drinking water, emergency shelter, and basic medical care remains urgent.

Community radio has always been about bringing people together to respond when it matters most. On Sunday 20 September, ArtSound FM is partnering with NKSSP CBR (Nepali Art Culture and Literature Academy Canberra) to present a special evening of community and live music at the Polish White Eagle Club (The Polo) in Turner.

Providing the soundtrack for the night are two terrific local acts: The Devil and The Bunny and The Daisy Coolective. Settle in for a warm, relaxed Sunday evening of music and community spirit. The Polo bar will be open throughout the night, with bar snacks available.

Most importantly, 100% of event profits will be donated directly to the Emergency Action Alliance (EAA) Nepal Flood Disaster Appeal, supporting accredited Australian aid agencies working on the ground to deliver lifesaving aid.
