Little Ecologists Forest Walk
Uncover a magical world hidden beneath your feet!
Join us for a gentle Autumn adventure as we explore the hidden life of the National Arboretum’s old growth Himalayan Cedar forest. Designed for children aged 4-8, the Little Ecologists Forest Walk introduces young learners to the tiny creatures, birds and seasonal changes that make the forest come alive.
Children will peek into the world of insects, beetles and other mini‑beasts, discover natural treasures on the forest floor, and enjoy hands‑on craft to finish the session. Guided by our education team, this program encourages curiosity, respectful interactions, careful observation, and a deeper connection with the natural environment .
Useful Info:
♿ The Himalayan Cedar forest is accessible via a Grade 1 sloped, sealed path through the forest. Please get in touch to discuss how we can adapt this program to your needs.
🙂Family fun, recommended for ages 4-8 years.
🖐️This is a family walk and we request that parents/carers stay and join in the fun!
