SUMMARY:Judo Come & Try Open Night
DESCRIPTION:Olympia Judo Club is pleased to invite members of the local community to our Come & Try Open Night\, providing an opportunity for people of all experience levels to come along\, meet our coaches and members\, and experience judo in a welcoming and supportive environment. \nWhether you have never tried judo before\, have previous martial arts experience\, or are looking to return to the sport\, this event is open to everyone. \nEvent Sessions:\nChildren’s Session — 4:30–5:30 pm \nThe children’s session will introduce participants to judo through a range of fun and engaging games\, activities and basic techniques. The session is designed to help children develop confidence\, coordination\, movement and an understanding of the fundamentals of judo. \nSenior Session (15+)— 5:30–6:30 pm \nThe senior session will provide an introduction to the fundamentals of judo\, including warm-ups\, movement\, breakfalls\, basic techniques and practical activities. The session is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience. \nBBQ and Community Gathering \nFollowing each session\, we will be holding a BBQ and informal social gathering. Participants\, families and club members are welcome to stay\, enjoy some food and meet members of the Olympia Judo Club community. \nLocation: Mackillop College\, Wanniassa (Padua Campus)\nEntry: Mackinnon Street \nNo previous judo experience is required\, and participants are encouraged to come along\, have a go and discover what judo has to offer. \nWe look forward to welcoming the community\, sharing our amazing sport and introducing new participants to judo.
