SUMMARY:Eco Darkroom Series: Phytogram Printing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Discover how sunlight\, plants\, and chemistry can create camera-less images in this hands-on workshop with artist Simone Darcy. Participants will learn how to make Phytograms camera-less photographs created using leaves\, flowers\, and eco-developer on photographic paper. \nAcross the day\, Simone will guide you through the process of creating your own Phytograms on both paper and film. She will also demonstrate techniques for expanding the process into more experimental territory\, including how to scan and translate your images into a hybrid digital–analogue work that can be printed at a larger scale. \nTo support your continued practice at home\, Simone will provide a digital recipe booklet filled with methods\, plant suggestions\, and practical tips for further experimentation. \nThis workshop invites you to slow down\, experiment\, and explore the intersection of art\, nature\, and science. \nAll materials are provided. Participants are welcome to bring along their own plants\, leaves\, fruits\, or vegetables to experiment with.
