DESCRIPTION:Join a fun and hands-on evening of cutting\, pasting\, and creating! In this relaxed 3-hour collage session\, artist Greta Cooper will guide you through the joyful messiness of collage — ripping\, layering\, and composing with colour and texture — all while enjoying some light refreshments of wine\, cheese\, and snacks. \nBring a few meaningful photos (travel photos\, favourite memories\, something that you’re happy cutting up) and use them as the heart of your artwork. Greta will show you how to bring it to life through collage\, using a range of materials and techniques. \nWe’ll also take a quick look at collage in art history — from Dada to contemporary artists like Joan Ross\, Deborah Kelly\, Danie Mellor and Hannah Höch — to get inspired before diving into our works. \nFor all levels of artistic experience\, this night is all about exploration\, play\, and creative connection. Come solo or bring a friend — it’s the perfect way to unwind\, get creative\, and share a fun night out together.
