An accomplished songwriter\, vocalist and pianist\, Monica makes music that is at once earnest and whimsical\, and whispers straight to the heart. \nA passionate and diverse artist\, she recently returned from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe\, performing in Live Music Nights\, Electric Cabaret and Little Dove Theatre Art’s award-winning show\, Six Women Standing in Front of a White Wall. \nMonica has appeared in various theatre productions including It’s a Wonderful Life and Danny\, The Champion of the World\, Anastasia Krupnik and a director’s showcase of Stitching. She was a member of the Choir for the Australian of the Year Awards and has performed her original compositions in venues including Festival of the Forest\, Smiths Alternative\, Enlighten Festival\, Sound and Fury\, Winterfest\, and Haig Park Experiments. \nMonica’s work as an actor\, musician\, composer and visual artist\, has richly informed her work as a drama\, art and music teacher in a diverse range of environments.
