Join Melbourne-based puppet designer Philip Miller for a unique, creative workshop where he will share some of his expertise in bringing fantasy creatures to life. Learn how to sculpt foam to provide shape, then attach a pulley mechanism to the form and discover how to create movement.

Philip Millar is one of Australia’s leading puppet artists, with 30 years of experience as a performer, designer, maker and director of puppetry for theatre, film and television. He has worked on projects such as How to Train Your Dragon – Live Spectacular, Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular, King Kong and Radio City Music Hall’s, Lady Liberty and is currently the Artistic Director of Melbourne-based puppet company, Puppetvision.
