Music 4 Mental Health

When 26 Oct, 2019 2:00pm — 6:00pm Where Polish White Eagle Club, David Street, Turner Website
This October, Canberrans will be celebrating Mental Health Month 2019 – a month dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and wellbeing through community events.

Capping off the month-long celebrations will be Music 4 Mental Health - a unique event, promoting the benefits of music, singing and community for good mental health.

Sponsored and coordinated by Canberra’s favourite fun, indie-pop choir, Mixtape Chorus, this event will showcase some of Canberra’s finest live musicians – who will both entertain and share with us their experiences of music’s positive benefits for mental health.

The thrilling line-up includes Canberra legends Endrey, JAYNE., Evan Buckley (The Burley Griffin) and Scoob McGoon. You will even get to experience first-hand the benefits of singing on our mental health, as we learn a song together with Mixtape Chorus!

In addition to live music and entertainment, there will also be lots of delicious food provided by Mixtape Chorus and opportunities to connect and share with others in your local community.

This highly anticipated community event will be held at the Polish Club on Saturday 26 October.

This event is free and open to all ages. Please register your attendance at

This event is made possible thanks to funding provided by the Mental Health Month Reimbursement Grants Program.
