The ANU Za Kabuki's 42nd annual performance is coming soon! This year's performance will be a play called "Old Timers" (ぢいさん ばあさん), a heartwarming comedy set during Japan’s Edo Period. Protagonist Minobe Iori is separated from his beloved wife and newborn child when he is suddenly called on to travel to the capital, Kyoto. What adventures will Iori get up to during his year away?

The performance will be in traditional Japanese, with English "subtitles", and the location is conveniently on the ANU campus at Theatre 3. Tickets can be bought at the door, online or at our stall in Kambri at ANU between 10-4 on weekdays.

This is a great event for anyone interested in Japanese language and culture, so come along and bring your friends!
