Cancer Council ACT Daffodil Day Appeal 2019

When 1 Aug, 2019 — 31 Aug, 2019 Where Canberra Website
The Daffodil Day Appeal will run throughout the whole of August 2019 culminating with Daffodil Day on Friday 23 August. Cancer Council ACT is encouraging people to donate online, hold a yellow themed fundraiser or buy fresh bunches of daffodils at one of the 25 locations available across Canberra between 22-25 August.

The yellow daffodil is the very staple of hope for a cancer free future, so much so that the colour itself reminds us of the power of hope! If you can't make it to a Daffodil Day stand, you can pre-order your fresh daffodil bunches from the Cancer Council ACT website.
You can also organise your yellow themed fundraisers in any and every way imaginable, from a morning tea to a yellow school disco. You could even create an arts and crafts area at your school or decorate your work space in yellow paper daffodils! Get your friends, family, team mates, co-workers or school mates involved for a fun filled day of inspiring hope and quality bonding whilst raising money for an incredible cause; reaching a cancer free future.

Visit and click 'Get Involved' for further information, to register your fundraiser or to donate. Once you’re registered, we’ll send you some fundraising resources to help make the day a huge success for everyone!

No matter who you are, everyone has been touched by cancer in some way; you might know someone affected by cancer or you may have had cancer yourself. Cancer Council ACT’s Daffodil Day Appeal helps unite us in hope and solidarity by raising funds to support cancer research in the ACT.
