Come to the Fitters Workshop in Kingston and meet a variety of heritage traders from around the country. Watch demonstrations of lacemaking, calligraphy and illumination, bookbinding, printmaking, blacksmithing, taxidermy, and wooden boat building and learn about the importance of heritage skills and the need to train the next generation. This event is intended to lobby and raise awareness of the scarcity of practitioners in these occupations and to ensure their continued practice and survival through the re-establishment of trade training. This is a great opportunity for teachers, students and families to learn about the broad range of career prospects out there in Heritage Trades.

This event runs over Saturday and Sunday - 13th -14th of July at the Fitters Workshop, near the Old Bus Depot Markets. Saturday the Show will be open at 9:00am - 4:30pm, and on the Sunday the Show will open at 10:00am - 4:30pm.
