100% hOPE Ugandan Children's Choir Morning Concert

When 17 Mar, 2019 10:00am — 11:30am Where Taylor Primary School, Marconi Crescent, Kambah Website http://hopechoiramcanberra.eventbrite.com.au
Meet Aussie school teacher Trishelle Sayuuni, founder of 100% hOPE, and her group of amazingly talented Ugandan children for one of only two public performances in Canberra of their exciting mix of traditional and contemporary African singing, dancing and drumming.

The Divergent Church community are inviting anyone who wishes to join them to come to see the Choir who are visiting as part of their three-month tour from Rockhampton to Melbourne. There will be a BBQ after the performance with all funds raised to go to the Choir's school in Uganda.

Spaces are limited so bookings are recommended but not essential. The concert is free, but tax-deductible gift cards will be available so guests can if they wish help build classrooms and the first ever auditorium at the Choir's primary school in hOPE Village for orphaned and vulnerable children.

For details visit www.100-hope.org.

We can’t all go to Africa, but by bringing a bit of Uganda to us, the hOPE Choir is helping our children - and adults - to see that helping others can not only be lots of fun, but really does change lives.

Trishelle’s story was the subject of the Channel 9 documentary Aussie Mum, African Heart, see it at www.facebook.com/100hOPE/

Thank you to Canberra volunteers, hOPE tour supporters, and sponsors Excelsia College, Sydney, and Rustic By Nature, Queensland, for helping to cover tour expenses so all funds raised can go towards the hOPE village school in Uganda.
