Conversations Across the Creek is an initiative by the Humanities Research Centre and the Research School of Chemistry at the Australian National University to stimulate research and teaching collaborations across the campus. Join us for the fourth ‘conversation’ for 2018 on the topic ‘Creators of Culture: Scientists in Australian Fiction’. The three speakers will explore how fictional Australian scientists are depicted in literature and the narrative techniques writers use.
Special guest: Peter Goldsworthy, poet and writer
