Mental Health Month ACT

When 11 Oct, 2018 11:00am — 2:00pm Where Garema Place, Canberra Website http://www.mentalhealthmonthact.org/expo
Mental Health Month is held each year in October to raise community awareness and understanding of mental illness, reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness, and promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo is an integral part of Mental Health Month in the ACT.

The expo is is a free public event which aims to bring the community together to celebrate positive wellbeing and learn more about mental health services available in the Canberra region. Importantly, the Expo aims to encourage people to seek help early to help reduce the impact of mental illness of an individual's life.

Join local organisations in a fun market-day atmosphere with information stalls, interactive activities, a free sausage sizzle and live music!

There are also lots of ways to get involved in Mental Health Month as an artist, participant or community organisation. Find out more about Mental Health Month, register an expo stall and find out more about the volunteer opportunities on the Mental Health Month ACT website.
