The 7th Annual Living Green Festival

When 1 Oct, 2017 10:00am — 4:00pm Where 100 Commonwealth Ave, Yarralumla Website
Canberra’s unique Living Green Festival showcases a kinder shade of green for the planet, humans and animals. This free day of fun for the whole family is back at the Albert Hall for the 7th time on Sunday 1 October from 10am-4pm!

There will be plant-based cuisine from all around the globe. Take your pick from unique Malaysian and Japanese dishes to fresh Italian pasta and hot Aussie pies; from raw cuisine and fresh juices to cakes, smoothies, coffee, chai and ice cream. There will be a huge range of market stalls selling and promoting sustainable, fair-trade and cruelty-free products and services. Everyone’s sure to find something to suit!

In the free Kidzone, rock climbing is back with an 8m wall that kids (and the kids-at-heart) can climb to get the best view of the Festival. Plus there will be face painting, games and an art & craft tent—ALL FREE!

Chill out in the grounds of the Albert Hall while listening to live music from some of Canberra's best performers including Petrichor, Hope Street, Monique Lewis and Sophia Fletcher, or catch one of the many workshops and talks on environmental, sustainability and food issues.

Oh, and there’s a dog café! That’s right, dogs are welcome at the Living Green Festival. In fact, we’ve created a whole café just for pooches and their humans! Carson’s Café will be right in the middle of the 2017 Living Green Festival serving treats for people and dogs alike.

So come and experience a kinder shade of green for a day! It’s free!
